Overview
The Community Hall offers the Hall and a first floor meeting room which are available for hire either separately or together. The kitchen is accessed from the Main Hall.
Main Hall
Size: 12.4 metres long by 8.7 metres wide, approximately 108m2
Capacity; Maximum 150 people standing, 100 people in theatre style rows and 80 people seated at tables
Meeting Room
Size: 4.8 metres by 5.8 metres, approximately 28m2. Some of this floor area has limited head room.
Capacity: Maximum 40 people standing, 30 people seated in theatre style rows and 15 people seated at tables.
Office Space
The meeting room can be hired as temporary office space for sole company use – 2 two desks, 2 office chairs, free wifi
An equipped kitchen
There is a well equipped kitchen with a 5 ring induction cooker, an oven and separate microwave, fridge freezer, double sink, and work surfaces.
A selection of cooking utensils and every-day crockery is included in the rental rate. Hirers should check that the contents meet their needs.
Accessible to all
The ground floor of the Hall is wheelchair accessible with disabled toilet facilities.
Free Wifi
Wifi is available throughout the building.
Toilet washroom facilities
There are two unisex toilets and an accessible toilet. The accessible toilet includes an accessible shower room and baby changing facilities.
Parking
There is limited parking (three spaces) at the Community Hall. There is a free car parking a short walk (300m) away off St John’s Road (SK17 8NE – following signs for the Sports complex). We request that Hall users park legally and considerately without causing an obstruction
